AventurEcuador Guides
Playing a key role in the satisfaction of our customers, our guides are carefully trained. As members of Prestige Ecuador family, we pay particular attention to their well-being within the team.
Alain
Living in Quito for more than 15 years, Alain fell under the spell of Ecuador and decided to become a guide in this country. His favorite place? The Chimborazo region, for its authentic sceneries and its unique traditions. He likes the transmission of knowledge provided by his job and the moments of interaction he can share with respectful, open-minded and friendly customers. He also shares a lot with the people he hosts in his guesthouse. Cooking, hiking, biking or playing tennis, Alain has fun through a lot of activities during his free time.
Carlos
Nature lover and guide, Carlos likes to share his passion for the Amazon and its varied fauna and flora. He especially loves the Lagarto Cocha reserve, a wild place in the middle of the Amazon forest. Carlos travels all around the country to photograph the impressive landscapes of Ecuador. One of his many anecdotes: during a night walk in the jungle, a traveler had a tarantula on his bald head but didn't realize it. Luckily, a guide took it out of his head and he was safe!
Fausto
Born at the foot of the Tungurahua volcano, Fausto grew up at the heart of the Ecuadorian nature. After a first ascent to the Tungurahua's summit when he was 14, he has never stopped climbing mountains. For instance, he reached more than 200 times the summit of Cotopaxi. Nowadays, he shares his love for nature through his profession. His free time is devoted to photography, bird watching and agriculture. His favorite story: while on a dugout canoe in the Amazon, a snake fell on the head of two tourists. They jumped into the water which was full of caimans and piranhas!
Jorge
For Jorge, becoming a guide was evident. His favorite trips are “extreme” ones with many activities such as zip lining, canyoning, trekking and biking among others. This is why he loves so much his home town, Baños, a little paradise for outdoors activities. This is where he likes to spend time with his family and to enjoy his hobbies: paragliding and rock climbing. Passionate about his job, he has great pleasure in guiding groups looking for adventure in the nature. Always paying close attention to the customers' safety and satisfaction, Jorge knows how to deal with unexpected events to make their trip unforgettable.
Nathali
Nathali decided to become a guide to combine her desire for freedom and her passion for sport. She has various leisure activities: rock climbing, traveling and visiting museums and Pre-Columbian archaeological sites. She likes to follow the road between Pujili and the Quilotoa lagoon to feel the greatness and power of nature. She likes to take travelers to the mountain while discovering at the same time the culture of the country through the meeting of communities living there. According to her, what makes the customers' trip unique is the sharing moments with local people that complete the physical effort.
